The start of something beautiful.

In June of this year, Quill and I went to Livingstone, Zambia in Africa to help our missionaries, Josh and Meagan Phiri. There was a team of 5 after 2 got turned back in Texas, and our main goal was to go and hand out shoes to the little (and some big) village children who most of the time walked around barefoot. If you have ever lived in the country like I did, you probably think walking around barefoot is a part of life. I still do it, although my feet are not as tough as they used to be. When I was a child I would climb trees and run across the gravel driveway without even noticing.
